Lunar New Year 2018

Chinatown Parade
Everyone is invited to Chicago’s Chinatown on Sunday, February 25, 2018 to watch the annual Lunar New Year parade (Year of the Dog 4716) at 1:00 p.m..  The parade will kick off at 24th Street and Wentworth Avenue.  The procession will head north up Wentworth to Cermak Road. The parade will feature marching bands, colorful floats, traditional lion dances and a special appearance by Ronald McDonald.

As this is the year of the dog, we will also be featuring a dogs on parade, with local participants and their dogs.  Registration is now closed to new dogs.

Click here to learn about the various ways you can get to Chinatown.  Please note that public transportation and ride sharing is highly recommended since there are limited parking in Chinatown.  If you plan on driving, please note that there will street closures surrounding the parade routes.
